2026年10月13日，是我教育公益生涯中极具里程碑意义的一天。在丹麦安徒生博物馆穹顶大厅举办的 2026年度安徒生教师奖／格隆维启蒙奖／辛德贝格骑士奖 盛大颁奖典礼上，我收到了一份沉甸甸、跨越山海的至高认可：经北菲茵市政府正式授予，我荣幸成为「丹麦北菲茵市荣誉市民」。自此，在我的人生履历，正式增添了一个名副其实、终身珍贵的新称谓——丹麦北菲茵市荣誉市民。
本次荣誉证书由北菲茵市上任市长 Morten Andersen （现任议员）亲自签名并请摩根先生在安徒生博物馆颁发（时任市长Mette休假），同时，长达十年的合作伙伴摩根先生，也为我颁发了北菲茵学院荣誉奖状，双份嘉奖，双重肯定，让我百感交集，心生无限感慨。

2016年，获安徒生博物馆官方授权，他与北菲茵学院合作，共同创办安徒生国际幼儿师范学院。2021年，他发起创立安徒生教师奖。他带领数百名中国教育工作者到访丹麦，传播格隆维启蒙思想以及丹麦幸福教育理念。
他以教育传递善意与和平，为深化中丹友好、促进全球儿童教育事业作出杰出贡献。

回望来时路：一场始于1998年的丹麦教育之缘
时光回溯至 1998年，我第一次踏上丹麦北菲茵这片纯净的土地，在Bogense旅行民众学校潜心求学半年。
结束丹麦求学后，我奔赴非洲纳米比亚投身国际志愿事业，回到丹麦后，继续求学奥尔堡大学，后进入联合国亚太经社会工作。走遍世界、阅尽山河，我愈发笃定：最好的教育，是守护童心、尊重人性、成就生命。
2016年，目睹国内应试教育重压下孩子们疲惫的状态，我再次回望丹麦这片教育沃土。
仅有六百万人口的丹麦，社会安定、国民包容、儿童幸福指数全球领先、全民创造力丰盈，它所践行的幸福教育、自然教育、全人教育，恰恰是重压之下的中国教育最值得借鉴、最值得学习的范本。
这一年底，我获得安徒生博物馆时任馆长Torben先生正式授权，获准使用安徒生姓名与肖像开展跨国教育交流。这份珍贵的信任，成为我深耕中丹教育事业最坚实的精神底气。
我与北菲茵学院院长摩根先生正式携手，落地安徒生国际幼儿师范学院中丹合作项目。
在老牛基金会的鼎力支持下，疫情前三年间，我先后带领 200余位中国校长、园长、教育学者、教育媒体人 远赴丹麦研学取经。
这群最早奔赴北欧的教育先行者，在中国掀起了学习丹麦教育的热潮。后续带动近千名国内教育同仁走进丹麦，同时持续邀请丹麦教育专家来华讲学、交流、共建多个中丹教育交流论坛。
多年来，我们出版近十部教育专著、刊发百篇教育文章、举办多场全国教育论坛，系统传播丹麦教育智慧。著名导演孟宪明老师更以我们真实的中丹教育交流故事为蓝本，拍摄教育纪实影片《悦悦的丹麦》，让北欧温柔的教育之光被更多国人看见。
以丹为师，推动中国基础教育深刻变革
更让人倍感欣慰的是，一批批赴丹研学的教育先行者，深度参与国家基础教育政策研讨与建言献策，持续推动中国教育回归自然、回归孩子、回归幸福。
如今，中国基础教育“双增双减”政策全面落地：
双减，卸下义务教育阶段孩子过重的作业负担、校外培训重压，让孩子走出题海焦虑；
双增，大幅增加体育、艺术、劳动、户外自然教育时间，补齐美育、体育、劳育短板。
全国小学一二年级、北京三年级以下全面取消书面作业与纸笔考试，让童年回归本真，让教育尊重成长。
这场影响千万中国儿童的教育变革，背后凝聚着许多中丹教育交流先行者多年默默的耕耘与坚守。
读懂丹麦：和解、包容与和平的教育底色
丹麦历经战争洗礼，却淬炼出全世界难得的包容、协商、和解、善意文化。
格隆维民众启蒙思想、全民共识治理传统、完善普惠的社会保障体系，构筑了这片土地温柔、安定、向善的底色。
安徒生童话里贯穿始终的悲悯、共情、善待弱小、相信奇迹，正是丹麦社会化解矛盾、维系和谐、生生不息的精神内核。
在战火不息、冲突不断的当今世界，丹麦的教育智慧与和平文化，是照亮人类未来的珍贵启示。
安徒生说：每个灵魂里都藏着奇迹，丑小鸭终会蜕变成白天鹅。
在 Benny Nybo 等国际友人的鼎力支持下，2021年，我正式发起了安徒生教师奖。
2025年，我们又发起了格隆维启蒙奖和辛德贝格骑士奖，企图全方位展示丹麦美好的教育原因。
本次2026北欧教育考察之旅，我们一众中国教育同仁，自金秋北京启航，飞越暗流涌动、战火阴影笼罩的霍尔木兹海峡，经迪拜中转德国汉堡。亲历纷争寒意，我们最终抵达温润平和的丹麦，追寻这束照亮人类文明的北欧教育之光。
我始终笃信：
儿童的幸福，是社会和谐的基石；
优质的幼教，是世界和平的源头。
由衷感谢丹麦北菲茵市政府、Morten Andersen 市长、摩根先生的认可与厚爱，这份荣誉不属于我个人，属于所有深耕中丹教育交流、默默守护儿童成长的教育同仁。
未来，我将继续肩负北菲茵荣誉市民的责任，传承格隆维启蒙精神、践行辛德贝格骑士道义、延续安徒生人文情怀，持续推动中丹教育深度交融，以教育之力润育童心、以善意之光守护和平。
人生如童话，曲折中求索，漂泊中逐梦，最后，梦想成真。

October 13, 2026 is a landmark day in my educational public welfare career. At the grand 2026 Award Ceremony for the Hans Christian Andersen Teacher’s Award, Grundtvig Enlightenment Award and Sindberg Knight Award held in the domed hall of the Hans Christian Andersen Museum, I received extraordinary recognition across continents: formally conferred by Nordfyn Municipal Government, I was honoured as Honorary Citizen of Nordfyn Municipality, Denmark.
The certificate was signed by Morten Andersen, former Mayor of Nordfyn and current municipal councillor. Since Mayor Mette was on leave, my long-time partner Mogens presented it to me at the museum. Meanwhile, Mogens awarded me an honorary certificate from Nordfyns Højskole. Two honours filled my heart with deep gratitude.

Mr. Dong Ruixiang studied in Bogensein 1998 and has dedicated decades to Sino-Danish educational exchange.
Authorised by the Hans Christian Andersen Museum in 2016, he co-founded Andersen Children Kindergarten College with Nordfyns Højskole. In 2021, he launched the Hans Christian Andersen Teacher’s Award, bringing hundreds of Chinese educators to Denmark to spread Grundtvig’s enlightenment philosophy and Danish happy education ideas.
By spreading goodwill and peace through education, he has made outstanding contributions to Sino-Danish friendship and global children’s education.
We hereby confer upon him the title of Honorary Citizen of Nordfyn Municipality.

My Educational Journey
My connection with Danish education began in 1998 when I studied at Bogense Traveling Folk High School. Later I volunteered in Namibia, pursued further studies at Aalborg University and worked for UNESCAP. My global travels convinced me: great education guards innocence, respects humanity and helps every life thrive.
In 2016, with official permission from the Hans Christian Andersen Museum, I partnered with Mogens to build the Andersen Children Kindergarten College. Supported by the Lao Niu Foundation, I led over 200 Chinese educators to Denmark for study tours before the pandemic. These pioneers sparked wide interest in Danish education in China. We have published books, hosted forums, and inspired the documentary Yueyue’s Denmark.
These exchanges helped promote China’s “Double Reduction and Double Enhancement” education policy, returning childhood to simplicity and joy.
Denmark’s culture of tolerance, reconciliation and Grundtvig’s folk enlightenment offer precious wisdom for our conflict-ridden world. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s spirit, we launched the Hans Christian Andersen Teacher’s Award in 2021, followed by the Grundtvig Enlightenment Award and Sindberg Knight Award in 2025.
On this 2026 Nordic study tour, we flew across the Strait of Hormuz via Dubai to Hamburg, and finally arrived in peaceful Denmark, pursuing the light of Nordic education.
I firmly believe children’s happiness lays the foundation of social harmony, and quality early childhood education is the source of world peace.
This honour belongs to all educators committed to Sino-Danish exchange. Moving forward, I will carry the title of Honorary Citizen of Nordfyn, inherit the spirit of Grundtvig and Sindberg, and continue to bridge Chinese and Danish education, nurturing innocence and safeguarding peace.
Life is a fairy tale. We strive through hardships, chase our dreams, and finally make them come true.
